PhoneBook Main Menu
This
module holds information about many different kinds of records, as
noted by the tabs along the top of the screen. Click any tab to go to
that screen.
If you need to find a record but do not know under
which category it was entered, click the Find Any button to get
the dialog below. After entering in your find requests click OK.
Common Features
Each screen in the PhoneBook has common features that we
will discuss here. At the upper left of most screen are the following
self
explanatory buttons. Each has its own confirmatory dialog box.
Creating a new record
To create a new record on a specific screen just click on the New button and confirm your action
at the appropriate dialog, such as the one shown here.
Since this is a "phone book" there are fields to enter phone numbers
and a way to label what those phone numbers are. Below is the phone
number section common to each record type.
Here the three phone number labels are "Office", "Custom" and "Custom".
Each one can be changed to any item in the pop-up list or you can edit
the pop-up list and select your new choice. The Fax, Email
and
Website field labels cannot be
changed.
PickList field
At the bottom of most screens is the PickList field. If the
field is "Yes" than this record will appear in pop-up lists in the Billing,
Patients and Letters Modules. This is done to limit the
number of record in this list so that it "builds faster" and limits
your choices.
